The Mazzoli Trio was formed in 2015 by students studying at the University of Auckland. The group gained international attention after being invited to perform in the 2nd International PAMS Music Summit held in Beijing, their playing being widely praised. Members of the group have individually gained success in their solo and chamber music fields taking them to many countries of the world. The Trio members have won many chamber music competitions in NZ including the prestigious Pettman/Royal Overseas League Scholarship and several others. They have appeared as soloists with NZ and overseas orchestras and were featured as official ensemble at the 2017 International Akaroa Music Summer Festival.
The programme will include works by Ritchie, Schubert, Français, Haydn, Dohnanyi and Missy Mazzoli.
