ACE Brass or Auckland Chamber Ensemble Brass was formed in 2011 by three star brass players, passionate about getting the wealth of world-class chamber music that exists for brass trios, onto the stage. Bringing together a wealth of experience in solo, orchestral and chamber music, these talented musicians embrace the fascinating repertoire of this most versatile and beguiling of combinations. The three musicians have all played internationally and now undertake their first nation-wide tour.
The programme will consist of pieces by Ewazen, Poulenc, Sims, Plog, Berio, Goss and Verhelst.
