Outstanding young Kiwi musicians now all studying in Europe, Hugh and Somi at the Royal Academy of Music, Todd at the Royal College of Music in London with Thomas at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. The three wind players were section principals together in the NZSO National Youth Orchestra and have performed with all major NZ orchestras. They all have many competition wins to their credit.
The Mimosa Ensemble are delighted to be performing chamber music together and will showcase both their individual and combined virtuosity with a flamboyant French focus.
The Trio will play works by Allard, Rachmaninov, Genzmer, Dutilleux, Borne, Poulenc and Salina Fisher.
