Poinsett Piano Trio (2013)After having performed together with great success for several years, Diedre Hutton, David Gross and Christopher Hutton founded the Poinsett Piano Trio in 2008. All three members of the Trio live in Greenville, South Carolina and teach at Furman University. They toured NZ in 2010 and played for Tauranga Musica at Baycourt.
Pianist David Gross was born in Berlin and played internationally, gaining prizes in several competitions before settling in USA where he is Associate Professor of Piano at Furman University.
Diedre Hutton is American born and is an avid solo, chamber and orchestral performer in USA and Europe. She is currently Adjunct Professor of Violin at Furman University.
Christopher Hutton was born in NZ and has played both overseas and in this country. He first played for Tauranga Musica in 1999 and again with the present Trio in 2010.
