Julia Joyce (nee McCarthy) is well known to NZ audiences. In 2008 she graduated from Guildhall in London with a Masters degree with distinction in both violin and viola. She was awarded a fellowship in 2009 and maintains a busy musical career playing in a number of orchestras and ensembles.
Kristen Darragh is one of NZ's most exciting upcoming operatic talents. She has performed regularly with NBR New Zealand Opera, most recently as Olga in Eugene Onegin. She graduated from the Royal Academy's Opera Course and was selected as the Dame Malvina Major Young Artist for 2009.
Kirsten Simpson studied with Diedre Irons at the University of Canterbury and then went on to the Royal College of Music where she graduated in both solo and collaborative piano.
